MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
November 1, lggg
Blesener pointed out that the Fire Station will be at the gateway of
the City, and, therefore, should be an attractive building.
Kroos stated that there is no question that brick is a much more attractive
material than precast concrete.
Fahey suggested that a brick facade may also be needed to upgrade the
appearance of the City Center building if the building is expanded.
Scalze felt that costs of various materials should be compared.
Blesener stated that he agreed with Fahey's position that the Fire
Station and City Center should be two separate developments.
Fahey thanked the representatives of Boarman & Associates for their
report, and asked for their further recommendations at the December
13, 1989 Council meeting.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:30 P.M.
Respectfully submitted,
~ / lrC JL.•,~~,~,?L"zz. „t.,-,~ -~ ~
Kathy G1anW~'er ~'1
I~ecording Secretary
Page 6
