MINUTES CITY COUNCIL NOVEMBER 22, 1989 Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Fahey, Collova, Scalze. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. ANNOUNCEMENTS Fahey reported that due to the resignation of Peggy Schweizer, there is an immediate vacancy on the Planning Commission. Anyone interested in filling this vacancy should submit their application at the City Center for consideration by the Council. Fahey also pointed out that the terms of three Planning Commissioners will expire on December 31, 1989, and applications will be accepted for these positions. Scalze reported that the terms of three Park Commissioners expire on December 31, 1989, and she is anticipating that the incumbents will apply for reappointment. PUBLIC The Mayor opened the public hearing to consider the HEARING application of Loren Brueggemann for subdivision of the SUBDIVISION Gagne property located at the southwest corner of GAGNE Country Drive and Nadeau Road into two lots, and PROPERTY & Planned Unit Development concept approval for the PUD CONCEPT development of six office/showroom buildings along FOR SIX Country Drive. OFFICE/ SHOWROOM Fahey reported that the Planning Commission recommended BUILDINGS approval of the PUD concept proposal by a vote of 4 to 1, and approval of the subdivision by a 6 to 0 vote. Fahey reported that the proposal has been considered by the Economic Development Committee as well. Irene Frattalone, Country Drive property owner, asked for an explanation of the development proposal. Jim Nordeen, architect for Mr. Brueggemann, described the location of the site as well as the concept plan showing the phased development of approximately 10 acres along Country Drive. Nordeen noted that access to the office/showroom buildings would be via Country Drive with no access on Nadeau Road or Condit Street. Page 2
