MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />NOVEMBER 22, 1989 <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Fahey, Collova, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS Fahey reported that due to the resignation of Peggy <br /> Schweizer, there is an immediate vacancy on the <br /> Planning Commission. Anyone interested in filling this <br /> vacancy should submit their application at the City <br /> Center for consideration by the Council. Fahey also <br /> pointed out that the terms of three Planning <br /> Commissioners will expire on December 31, 1989, and <br /> applications will be accepted for these positions. <br /> Scalze reported that the terms of three Park <br /> Commissioners expire on December 31, 1989, and she is <br /> anticipating that the incumbents will apply for <br /> reappointment. <br />PUBLIC The Mayor opened the public hearing to consider the <br />HEARING application of Loren Brueggemann for subdivision of the <br />SUBDIVISION Gagne property located at the southwest corner of <br />GAGNE Country Drive and Nadeau Road into two lots, and <br />PROPERTY & Planned Unit Development concept approval for the <br />PUD CONCEPT development of six office/showroom buildings along <br />FOR SIX Country Drive. <br />OFFICE/ <br />SHOWROOM Fahey reported that the Planning Commission recommended <br />BUILDINGS approval of the PUD concept proposal by a vote of 4 to <br /> 1, and approval of the subdivision by a 6 to 0 vote. <br /> Fahey reported that the proposal has been considered by <br /> the Economic Development Committee as well. <br /> Irene Frattalone, Country Drive property owner, asked <br /> for an explanation of the development proposal. <br />Jim Nordeen, architect for Mr. Brueggemann, described <br />the location of the site as well as the concept plan <br />showing the phased development of approximately 10 <br />acres along Country Drive. Nordeen noted that access <br />to the office/showroom buildings would be via Country <br />Drive with no access on Nadeau Road or Condit Street. <br />Page 2 <br />
