MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />December 27, 1989 <br />Fahey felt Souchy would be in a better position <br />retaining his commercial zoninq since a developer may <br />wish to purchase and develop the property. <br />Souchy pointed out that his lot is adjacent to R-1. <br />Fahey reported that if Mr. Souchy wishes to make <br />application for a rezoning of his property, it is his <br />right to do so. However, that was a separate issue <br />from what is being considered this evening. <br />Upon motion by Fahey, seconded by Scalze, the public <br />hearinq was closed. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 89-12-621 - TABLING ACTION ON THE <br />AMENDMENT TO THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN REFLECTING THE <br />REZONING OF 73, 77, 83, AND 89 WEST COUNTY ROAD C UNTIL <br />THE JANUARY 24, 1989 COUNCIL MEETING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Blesener, Scalze, LaValle, Collova. <br />Nays (O). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />AMENDMENT Fahey opened the public hearing to consider the <br />To PUD application submitted by Two S Properties for <br />TWO S an amendment to the Planned Unit Development for <br />PROPERTIES 87 East County Road B to divide the property into two. <br />Todd Jones, Two S Properties, appeared before the <br />Commission reporting that he recently acquired the <br />property and would like it divided for two reasons. <br />The first is to get separate tax statements for the <br />mini-storage and the office/warehouse buildings, and <br />the second is so that some time in the future he could <br />sell the office/warehouse building. <br />Blesener pointed out a previous request of one of the <br />tenants of the office/warehouse building for signage. <br />Jones reported that he acquired the property after that <br />request had been made. Jones pointed out that the <br />tenant would need his permission for such a request. <br />Page 18 <br />
