MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />January 10, 1990 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fahey. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Fahey, Collova, Blesener, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />RECREATION Scalze reported that the children's skating party is <br />REPORT scheduled for Saturday, February lOth, from 1 P.M. <br />until 3 P.M. <br />Scalze also reported that there are 109 children <br />participatinq in the gymnastics program, two girls' <br />basketball teams, six boys' basketball teams, six <br />hockey teams and 40 children participating in skating <br />lessons. Softball and baseball registration will be <br />held on March lst and 8th from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. <br />ADMINIS- LaValle reported that during the City Clerk's absence <br />TRATION and during the leave-of-absences of some of the <br />clerical staff, Bev Jesperson has worked full-time. <br />LaValle recommended that Mrs. Jesperson's benefits be <br />adjusted to reflect these additional hours. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-1-27 - AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br />ADMINISTRATOR TO ADJUST THE BENEFITS FOR MRS. BEVERLY <br />JESPERSON AS NECESSARY TO REFLECT HER TEMPORARY <br />FULL-TIME STATUS <br />The foreqoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Blesener, Collova, Fahey, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />The Administrator reported that Mrs. Jesperson has <br />requested an extended vacation beginning early <br />February, and there is a two-week period that will <br />require an unpaid leave-of-absence. <br />I~r. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-1-28 - APPROVING AN UNPAID, TWO-WEEK <br />LEAVE-OF-ABSENCE FOR BEVERLY JESPERSON <br />Page 22 <br />
