MINUTES CITY COUNCIL & EDA February 7, 1990 houses on the Mondor, Weinholzer, and McNamara properties. As a member of the City Council, Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 90-2-57 - ASSUMING THAT THE PURCHASE OF THE MONDOR, WEINHOLZER AND MCNAMARA PROPERTIES PROCEEDS, THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR IS AUTHORIZED TO ADVERTISE THE SALE OF THE THREE STRUCTURES ON THESE PROPERTIES WITH THE STIPULATION THAT THE STRUCTURES ARE TO BE MOVED OUTSIDE THE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA, WITH ALL BIDS TO BE SUBMITTED BY A DEADLINE TO BE ESTABLISHED BY THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR AND STRUCTURES TO BE REMOVED BY JUNE 1, 1990, WITH THE PURCHASERS TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CLEAN-UP OF THE PROPERTY, AND IF NO SALES OCCUR BY JUNE 1, 1990, TAE STRUCTURES WILL BE DEMOLISHED The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (5) Fahey, LaValle, 5calze, Collova, Blesener. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. Council discussed the need for insurance coverage on these properties. As a member of the City Council, Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90-2-58 - INSTRUCTING THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO ARRANGE FOR THE EXTENSION OF THE CITY'S LIABILITY INSURANCE COVERAGE TO THESE PROPERTIES AND LEAVING IT TO THE DISCRETION OF THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR AS TO WHETHER OR NOT PROPERTY DAMAGE COVERAGE SAOULD BE INCLUDED AS WELL The foregoinq resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. Ayes (5) Scalze, Blesener, Collova, LaValle, Fahey. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. The City Administrator reported our Attorneys have advised us it will be necessary to execute a stipulation on the McNamara property with M& M Financial due to the condemnation process. This stipulation will allow us to close on the property and obtain title, but M& M Financial still retains their Page 4
