MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />February 14, 1990 <br />RESOLUTION N0. 90-2-89 - APPOINTING JOEL R. HANSON AS <br />THE CITY'S REPRESENTATIVE ON THE LIGHT RAIL TRANSIT <br />INTERGOVERNMENTAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE OF THE <br />REGIONAL RAILROAD AUTHORITY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Collova. <br />Ayes (4) Fahey, Collova, Scalze, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />TEMPORARY Scalze reported that there appears to be a great many <br />SIGNS temporary signs around the City, and asked that the <br />Building Inspector check into this. <br />The Administrator reported that the Building Inspector <br />sent out some notices on temporary signs a few days <br />ago. <br />PIONEER PARK Scalze submitted for Council information the Pioneer <br />ENTRANCE Park entrance garden being planned by the Park <br />GARDEN Commission in conjunction with Servants of Mary who has <br />volunteered to take on the project this year by <br />coordinating efforts of volunteers and funding the cost <br />of flowers. <br />Fahey asked if the Park Commission has discussed the <br />seeding of Pioneer Park last year and the effects of a <br />dust storm on that seed. <br />Scalze reported that the Park Commission has been <br />informed that the contractor guarantees the seed for <br />1990. Scalze pointed out that there has been no <br />anticipation that the park will be used in 1990, <br />however. <br />REC ASSOC. Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />BACK TO 50'S moved its adoption: <br />DANCE <br />TEMP. WINE RESOLUTION NO. 90-2-90 - APPROVING A TEMPORARY WINE <br />& BEER AND BEER LICENSE FOR THE RECREATION ASSOCIATION FOR <br />PERMIT THEIR BACK TO THE '50'S DANCE TO BE HELD ON APRIL 21, <br />1990 <br />The foreqoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (4) Scalze, LaValle, Collova, Fahey. <br />Nays (o). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />Page 22 <br />
