MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />February 14, 1990 <br />Increment Finance Plan relatinq thereto for the Country <br />Drive redevelopment area, Fahey pointed out that the <br />Planning Commission has found the redevelopment project <br />to be in conformance with the City's Comprehensive <br />Plan. Notices of tonight's hearing were sent to the <br />County and various school districts as required by <br />State Statute, and a response was received from the <br />County. <br />Fahey pointed out that establishment of the TIF <br />district and development program are the final stage <br />before the redevelopment project can proceed, <br />Fahey asked if there was anyone present from the other <br />local governing bodies that wished to address this <br />issue. There was not. <br />Fahey asked if there was anyone from the general public <br />present wishing to address this issue. There was not. <br />Upon motion by Scalze, seconded by LaValle, the public <br />hearing was closed. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 89-2-67 - APPROVING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF <br />DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO. 2 AND THE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM <br />RELATING THERETO, AND ESTABLISHING TAX INCREMENT <br />FINANCING DISTRICT NO. 2-1 AND THE TAX INCREMENT <br />FINANCING PLAN RELATING THERETO <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (4) Scalze, LaValle, Collova, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />CENTERVILLE Pat Pelstring, Business Development Services, appeared <br />ROAD AREA before the Council and reviewed his report dated <br />February 7, 1990 regarding the Centerville Road area. <br />Pelstring reported that there are two property owners <br />in the area who have indicated a reluctance to develop <br />their properties unless their sale price can be met. <br />Pelstring suggested that he submit information on the <br />area to developers to determine if there is any <br />interest. If there are interested developers, <br />Pelstring suggested that he meet with them, and then <br />bring a report back to the Council and Economic <br />Development Committee. <br />Page 3 <br />
