MINUTES <br />City Council <br />February 28, 1990 <br />The Planner stated that from a planning perspective, <br />the location is the best for senior housing since it is <br />close to a retail area and mass transit. The area is <br />less desirable as a commercial development since it is <br />isolated. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-2-101 - DIRECTING CITY STAFF TO <br />INVESTIGATE TAE FEASIBILITY OF THE USE OF TAX INCREMENT <br />FINANCING FOR A PERIOD OF 25 YEARS IN CONNECTION WITH <br />THE SENIOR CITIZEN HOUSING PROPOSAL SUBMITTED BY <br />DOMINIUM GROUP AS WELL AS INVESTIGATE THE AVAILABILITY <br />OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Scalze, Collova, LaValle, Blesener, <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. Collova introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-2-102 - REFERRING THE CONCEPT <br />PROPOSAL FOR SENIOR CITIZEN HOUSING SUBMITTED BY <br />DOMINIUM GROUP TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION FOR THEIR <br />REVIEW AND COMMENT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Collova, Scalze, Blesener, Fahey, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />RECESS At this point in the meeting, 10:10 P.M., Council took <br />a short recess. The meeting was reconvened at 10:20 <br />P.M. <br />MOBILEHOME The City Attorney reviewed his letter dated February <br />PARKS - 21, 1990 regarding enforcement of speed limits in the <br />SPEED LIMITS City's mobilehome parks. <br />It was the concensus of the Council that Public Works <br />determine the posted speed limits in the City's <br />mobilehome parks. <br />Page 19 <br />
