MINUTES <br />City Council <br />February 28, 1990 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Blesener, Collova, Scalze, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />CLOSED Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />SESSION moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-2-114 - APPROVING A CLOSED SESSION <br />FOLLOWING THE COUNCIL MEETING TO DISCUSS PENDING <br />LITIGATION <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener, <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Blesener, Collova, LaValle, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />CENTRE PLACE The City Attorney submitted a proposed resolution <br />authorizinq the City to condemn for improvements <br />abutting the Centre Place plat in the event that <br />easements cannot be negotiated with the property <br />owners. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 90-2-115 - AUTHORIZING CONDEMNATION FOR <br />IMPROVEMENTS ABUTTING CENTRE PLACE PLAT IN CONJUNCTION <br />WITH LITTLE CANADA IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 89-16 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Blesener, LaValle, Collova, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />GAMBLING It was the concensus of the Council to discuss the <br />CONTROLS issue of gambling controls on March 14th when <br />representatives of the various charities will be <br />present to discuss trade area. <br />ADJOURN Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-2-116 - ADJOURNING <br />Page 26 <br />
