MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />March 28, 1990 <br />PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2795 LAKESIDE COURT ON THE BASIS OF <br />COMPLETION OF THE EASEMENT QUESTION ON TAAT PROPERTY <br />AND BASED ON THE CITY ENGINEER'S RECOMMENDATION FOR <br />APPROVAL OF THE PERMIT APPLICATION <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (4) Fahey, Blesener, Collova, Scalze. <br />Nays (o). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />The City Administrator recommended compensation to the <br />Ganzel's in the amount of $167.00 for extension of the <br />easement as outlined in his letter dated March 23, <br />1990. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-3-140 - APPROVING ACQUISITION OF THE <br />EASEMENT EXTENSION ON THE GANZEL PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br />2795 LAKESIDE COURT AS OUTLINED IN THE CITY <br />ADMINISTRATOR'S LETTER DATED MARCH 23, 1990, AND <br />AUTHORIZING PAYMENT TO THE GANZEL'S IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />$167.00 AS COMPENSATION FOR THE ADDITIONAL EASEMENT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (4) Blesener, Scalze, Collova, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />WORKERS COMP The Council reviewed the letter of the City <br />INSURANCE Administrator dated March 23, 1990 outlining cost <br />savings to the City by switching its Workers' <br />Compensation Insurance coverage to the Employee Benefit <br />Administration for the League of Minnesota Cities' <br />insurance plan. <br />The City Administrator reported that he was informed by <br />the 5tate Mutual Fund Insurance Company today that they <br />will provide a discount to the City for this coverage, <br />and that the City is eligible for their rebate program <br />in 1990, however, the rebate is not guaranteed. The <br />Administrator reported that even with the discount and <br />possible rebate, the coverage through the EBA would <br />result in an annual cost savings of $2,000. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />Page 10 <br />
