MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
March 28, 1990
Scalze disagreed. Scalze also pointed out that the
basis of the park charge ordinance is that as land is
developed the need for and use of park land increases.
Fahey stated that the staff's park charge survey of
surrounding cities did not provide him with enough
information, and asked that a more comprehensive survey
be conducted and that more than just the surrounding
cities be surveyed. Fahey suggested that the matter be
tabled for two weeks pending the results of a more
extensive survey.
VOUCHERS Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 90-3-155 - APPROVING THE VOUCHERS
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze.
Ayes (4) Fahey, Scalze, Collova, Blesener.
Nays (0).
Resolution declared adoptedo
MINUTES Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION N0. 90-3-156 - APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE
MARCH 19, 1990 WORKSHOP MEETING AS SUBMITTED
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fahey.
Ayes (4) Blesener, Fahey, Scalze, Collova.
Nays (0).
Resolution declared adopted.
CANADIAN Council discussed the position of Canadian Days
DAYS Coordinator which was recently advertised, specifically
COORDINATOR as regards compensation for that position. It was the
concensus of the Council that the Mayor and City
Administrator discuss the duties and salary with the
president of the Canadian Days Committee and that a
recommendation be made to the Council on salary. Once
the salary is determined, the Administrator should
contact the applicants to determine if they are still
interested in the position.
Page 23
