MINUTES
COUNCIL AND PLANNING WORKSHOP
April 11, 1990
The Commissioners again brought up the subject of
Commission involvement in park land acquisition.
Blesener agreed that this subject should be reviewed by
the Commission from a land use standpoint, and
suggested that the Park Commission Chairman and
Consultant could make a presentation to the Commission
on the proposed development of Pioneer Park.
Scalze pointed out that this had already been done.
Blesener suggested that it would be helpful to the new
members of the Planning Commission.
Drabik pointed out that there are gaps in the Comp Plan
as it relates to residential areas. Drabik pointed out
that it took a private citizen to get a 4-way stop
installed at the intersection of LaBore Road and
Edgerton.
Scalze pointed out that the City requested the County
install the 4-way stop several times and was turned
down. It took a private citizen in an election year to
get the 4-way stop.
It was the concensus of the Council and Commission that
the workshop meeting should be continued on Wednesday,
May 9th at 6:30 P.M.
r
~ I,'k ~ ~ ~ ~ •'.~~` ~' ~. . `c~. <.~. ~
~ic a~i el I.
