MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />APRIL 25, 1990 <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-4-205 - APPROVING THE APPLICATION FOR <br />SUBDIVISION OF THE PROPERTY AT THE INTERSECTION OF OLD <br />COUNTY ROAD C AND COUNTY ROAD C INTO TWO LOTS AND <br />GRANTING A VARIANCE FOR LOT AREA 3INCE ONE OF THE LOTS <br />WILL BE SLIGHTLY LESS THAN THE 15,000 SQUARE FEET <br />REQUIRED BY CODE AS REQUESTED BY THE NORTH SUBURBAN <br />COMPANY BASED ON THEIR PROPOSAL TO CONSTRUCT TWO <br />DUPLEXES ON THE PROPERTY SUBJECT TO COMPLIANCE WITA THE <br />RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY PLANNER AS CONTAINED IN HIS <br />REPORT DATED APRIL 2, 1990 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Collova. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Collova, Scalze, Blesener, Fahey< <br />Nays (o). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />Council discussed the issue of no on-street parking <br />with the concensus of the Council taking the position <br />that Old County Road C should be posted as no parking <br />immediately. Collova and LaValle did not feel the <br />street should be posted until after construction of the <br />duplexes was completed. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-4-206 - INSTRUCTING THE PUBLIC WORKS <br />SUPERINTENDENT TO POST BOTH SIDES OF OLD COUNTY ROAD C <br />FROM NEW COUNTY ROAD C TO STARK STREET AS NO-PARKING <br />EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (3) Fahey, Blesener, Scalze. <br />Nays (2) LaValle, Collova. <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />REZONING OF Mayor Fahey opened the public hearing to consider the <br />PIONEER PARK rezoning of Pioneer Park from I-P District to Public. <br />There was no one from the general public present <br />wishing to comment on this matter. <br />Upon motion by Scalze, seconded by Blesener, the public <br />hearing was closed. <br />Page 10 <br />
