MINUTES
WORKSHOP MEETING
May 9, 1990
clean-up of Ryan Industrial
Fahey felt that the Council
should work together to set
staff.
Park, code enforcement.
and Planning Commission
more direction for the City
DeLonais stated that for many years code enforcement
has been dropped. DeLonais was concerned that projects
are going in and there is no follow-up by staff.
Fahey stated that the City Administrator and Building
Inspector are working on putting procedures in place
for code enforcement and there should be some feedback
on this issue soon.
Bendel was concerned that there has not been
enforcement on projects because staff has not collected
performance bonds when it should have.
Fahey again suggested that the Planning Commission put
together a priority list of items that need to be
addressed with the number one priority being something
the Planning Commission feels needs to be accomplished
by the end of the year.
Fahey suggested that when routine matters come before
the Planning Commission and an applicant is not
present, that the Commission consider passing the
matter on without a recommendation rather than tabling
the matter and delaying it for 60 to 90 days. Fahey
pointed out that the Commission usually has the benefit
of the City Planner's report.
There being no further business, the workshop meeting
was adjourned at 7:30 P.M.
N~~~~~~-~-~~i ~
ichael I.
