MINUTES CITY COUNCIL JUNE 12~ 1990 The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Scalze, Collova, Fahey. Nays (O). Resolution declared adopted. CITY The Council discussed the scheduling of a 6-month ADMINISTRATOR performance evaluation for the City Administrator, and PERFORMANCE it the concensus of the Council to schedule this matter at a workshop meeting to be held on Wednesday, June 27th, at 6:3o P.M. prior to the regular City Council meeting. FIRE STATION Council discussed the issue of the zoning of the new SITE - station site. ZONING Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 90-6-287 - CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING FOR WEDNESDAY, JULY 25, 1990 TO CONSIDER THE REZONING OF THE NEW FIRE STATION SITE FROM B-3 TO PUBLIC AND/OR TO CONSIDER THE ISSUANCE OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT UNDER TAE EXISTING B-3 ZONING TO ALLOW THE USE OF THE PROPERTY AS A FIRE STATION SITE, IF THE COUNCIL DETERMINES THIS OPTION TO BE MORE APPROPRIATE The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (5) Fahey, LaValle, Scalze, Collova, Blesener. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. OLD FIRE Scalze reported that she spoke with Servants of Mary STATION and St. Joseph's Society regarding the excess donation SITE monies that the City has from the Little Canada Elementary School project. The charities have indicated that they would like to see this money used for construction of a marker or planter at the old fire station site. The charities will work with Bill Sanders on this project. Therefore, Scalze recommended that the monies be placed in the City's Park Fund but earmarked for the old fire station project until plans are finalized.
