MINUTES CITY COUNCIL JULY 11, 1990 NORTH Council reviewed the application submitted by the COUNTRY Recreation Association for temporary liquor license in CLASSIC conjunction with their North Country Classic to be held TEMP. LIQUOR on September 7, 8, 9, 1990. LICENSE Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90-7-329 - APPROVING THE TEMPORARY LIQUOR LICENSE FOR THE SALE OF WINE AND NON-INTOXICATING MALT LIQUOR FOR THE LITTLE CANADA RECREATION ASSOCIATION IN CONJUNCTION WITA THEIR NORTH COUNTRY CLASSIC TO BE HELD ON SEPTEMBER 7, 8~ 9, 1990 SUBJECT TO COMPLIANCE WITH ANY REVISIONS MADE TO THE CITY'S LIQUOR ORDINANCE WHICH MAY TAKE EFFECT PRIOR TO THE DATE OF THE EVENT The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. Ayes (5) LaValle, Scalze, Collova, Blesener, Fahey. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. DESOTO The City Engineer reviewed an alternate for extension WATERMAIN of watermain to serve the Slumberland expansion. IMPROVEMENT The Engineer requested that the Council call for a public hearing to consider the improvement, pointing out that based on input received at the public hearing, the exact nature of the improvement can be determined by the City Council. The hearing will consider the full improvement as presented in the Engineer's report dated June 20, 1990. Scalze asked if there were excess TIF funds available that could be used to help write down the cost of this improvement for the property owners along DeSoto. The City Administrator reported that this is one of options that he will look into. Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90-7-330 - CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON AUGUST 8, 1990 TO CONSIDER THE PROPOSED DESOTO WATERMAIN IMPROVEMENT The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle.
