MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JULY 11, 1990 <br />NORTH Council reviewed the application submitted by the <br />COUNTRY Recreation Association for temporary liquor license in <br />CLASSIC conjunction with their North Country Classic to be held <br />TEMP. LIQUOR on September 7, 8, 9, 1990. <br />LICENSE <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-7-329 - APPROVING THE TEMPORARY <br />LIQUOR LICENSE FOR THE SALE OF WINE AND <br />NON-INTOXICATING MALT LIQUOR FOR THE LITTLE CANADA <br />RECREATION ASSOCIATION IN CONJUNCTION WITA THEIR NORTH <br />COUNTRY CLASSIC TO BE HELD ON SEPTEMBER 7, 8~ 9, 1990 <br />SUBJECT TO COMPLIANCE WITH ANY REVISIONS MADE TO THE <br />CITY'S LIQUOR ORDINANCE WHICH MAY TAKE EFFECT PRIOR TO <br />THE DATE OF THE EVENT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Scalze, Collova, Blesener, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />DESOTO The City Engineer reviewed an alternate for extension <br />WATERMAIN of watermain to serve the Slumberland expansion. <br />IMPROVEMENT The Engineer requested that the Council call for a <br />public hearing to consider the improvement, pointing <br />out that based on input received at the public hearing, <br />the exact nature of the improvement can be determined <br />by the City Council. The hearing will consider the <br />full improvement as presented in the Engineer's report <br />dated June 20, 1990. <br />Scalze asked if there were excess TIF funds available <br />that could be used to help write down the cost of this <br />improvement for the property owners along DeSoto. <br />The City Administrator reported that this is one of <br />options that he will look into. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-7-330 - CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON <br />AUGUST 8, 1990 TO CONSIDER THE PROPOSED DESOTO <br />WATERMAIN IMPROVEMENT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Scalze, Collova, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />Page 11 <br />
