MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JULY 11, 1990 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Scalze, Collova, Fahey. <br />Nays (O). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-7-319 - APPROVING TAE MINUTES OF THE <br />JUNE 27, 1990 WORKSHOP COUNCIL MEETING AS SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Scalze, Collova, Fahey. <br />Nays (O). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS Mayor Fahey announced the City's policy for tree and <br />brush removal which has become necessary as a result of <br />Sunday's storm damage. Beginning on Monday, July 16th, <br />at 7 A.M., Precision Tree will be picking up the <br />debris. This service is being provided to the <br />residents of the City at no charge due to the <br />generousity of Servants of Mary in donating for the <br />cost of the removal. Fahey outlined the conditions <br />that residents must follow for stacking of debris along <br />curbside. Flyers were distributed to City residents <br />outlining these conditions. <br />Fahey announced that there will be a public forum held <br />by the Ramsey County Regional Railroad Authority on the <br />Northeast Corridor Light Rail Transit Alignment Study. <br />This forum is scheduled for Monday, July 23, 1990 at <br />7:00 P.M. at the East Branch YMCA at 1075 Arcade <br />Street. The public is requested to attend and provide <br />input. <br />LaValle reported that he has toured the City with Jan <br />Sherman of Servants of Mary to view the recent storm <br />damage. LaValle reported that there are a few <br />instances were elderly residents have had large piles <br />of branches and brush that are not adjacent to the <br />curb.
