MINUTES OF THE WORKSHOP MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />July 19, 1990 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a reqular <br />meeting of the Council of the City of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota was held on the 19th day of July, 1990 in the <br />Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Michael Fahey chaired the meeting and called it <br />to order at 5:00 P.M. and the following members of the <br />Council were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Mr. Michael Fahey <br />Council Member Mr. Bill Blesener <br />Council Member Mr. Rick Collova <br />Council Member Mr. Jim LaValle <br />Council Member Mrs. Beverly Scalze <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Admin. Mr. Joel Hanson <br />Building Insp. Mr. John Palacio <br />Recreation Dir. Mr. Jim Morelan <br />Fire Chief Mr. Frank Graczyk <br />Rec. Secretary Mrs. Kathy Glanzer <br />Mayor Fahey pointed out that the purpose of this <br />workshop meeting is to review final plans for the new <br />Fire Station as well as City Center expansion. <br />Paul Mickelberg, Boarman & Associates, began with a <br />review of the new Fire Station plan. Mickelberg <br />reported that a meeting was held with the Fire <br />Department last evening to review plans, and Mickelberg <br />presented a memo dated July 19th outlining the concerns <br />raised by the Fire Department. <br />Mickelberg reviewed the exterior building facade for <br />the Fire Station showing the Council a sample of the <br />brick that will be used. <br />Council discussed the brick color and it was their <br />consensus to accept the sample presented. <br />Mickelberg reported that he discussed the Fire Station <br />project with Mrs. Barrieau, the property owner adjacent <br />to the site. Mrs. Barrieau has only five foot of <br />setback along the property line adjoining the Fire <br />Page 1 <br />
