MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JULY 25, 1990 <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-7-354 - AUTHORIZING THE CALLING FOR <br />BIDS FOR WARMING HOUSE CON5TRUCTION AT THE ROSEVILLE <br />AREA MIDDLE SCHOOL <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Collova, Scalze, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />Morelan reported that he would get authorization in <br />writing from the School District for construction of <br />the new warming house on their property. <br />AOCKEY RINK Morelan reported that the City budgeted $10,000 for <br />BOARDS 1990 for rebuilding of boards at the hockey rink. <br />Morelan requested authorization to call for bids for <br />this improvement. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the followinq resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-7-355 - AUTHORIZING TAE CALLING FOR <br />BIDS FOR REBUILDING OF HOCKEY RINKS AS REQUESTED BY JIM <br />MORELAN <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Blesener, Collova, Scalze, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />TREE Scalze reported that the Recreation Association has <br />PLANTING approved a$20,000 donation to the City for tree <br />planting in Pioneer Park. They are requestinq that the <br />City absorb the cost of design and inspection of the <br />project. <br />Scalze reported that it is hoped that the trees will be <br />planted in October. Bill Sanders is estimating 60 <br />evergreen trees 8 to 10 feet in height. Estimated cost <br />of design and inspection of the project is $1,000. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-7-356 - AUTHORIZING BILL SANDERS TO <br />COMMENCE DESIGN OF THE PIONEER PARK TREE PLANTING <br />PROJECT <br />PAGE 27 <br />
