MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />August 8, 1990 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular <br />meeting of the Council of the City of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota was held on the 8th day of August, 1990 in <br />the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Michael Fahey chaired the meeting and called it <br />to order at 7:40 P.M. and the following members of the <br />Council were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Mr. Michael Fahey <br />Council Member Mr. Bill Blesener <br />Council Member Mr. Rick Collova <br />Council Member Mr. Jim LaValle <br />Council Member Mrs. Beverly Scalze <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Admin. Mr. Joel Hanson <br />City Attorney Mr. Tom Sweeney <br />City Engineer Mr. Mike Lynch <br />Cable TV Prod. Mr. Bill Bruce <br />Rec. Secretary Mrs. Kathy Glanzer <br />MINUTES LaValle reported that page 30 of the July 25th Council <br />minutes should be corrected to reflect that the Fire <br />Chief was opposed to a fireworks display in Spooner <br />Park, specifically. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 90-8-365 - APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE <br />JULY 25, 1990 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AS CORRECTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, Scalze, Collova, Fahey, Lavalle. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS Fahey reported that filings for City elections can be <br />made from August 28th until September lith. The <br />offices of the Mayor and two Council Members are up for <br />election this fall. The Mayor's term is two years and <br />each Council Member's term is four. <br />Page 1 <br />
