MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />SEPTEMBER 26, 1990 <br />Scalze asked if the developer would submit a sign plan <br />that could be reviewed by the Council. <br />Blesener stated that as long as the sign met the <br />requirements of the Ordinance, there was no need for <br />Council to review a sign plan. <br />Brueggemann reported that he would have the architect <br />submit a sign plan for Council information. <br />Collova suggested that the issue of landscaping be <br />addressed, with the City requiring submission of a <br />landscape plan. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-9-433 - APPROVING THE FINAL PLANNED <br />UNIT DEVELOPMENT, PLAN REVIEW AND LOT SPLIT FOR KANDICE <br />HEIGHTS COMMERCIAL PARK PHASE II SUBJECT TO COMPLIANCE <br />WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY PLANNER AS <br />CONTAINED IN HIS REPORT DATED SEPTEMBER 10, 1990 AND <br />SUBJECT TO PAYMENT OF THE APPROPRIATE PARK CHARGE AS <br />WELL AS SUBJECT TO RESOLUTION OF THE VACATION ISSUE ON <br />COUNTRY DRIVE AND NADEAU ROAD <br />The foreqoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (4) Blesener, Scalze, Collova, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. Collova introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-9-434 - REQUIRING THAT LEB <br />DEVELOPMENT SUBMIT A LANDSCAPE PLAN FOR THEIR PHASE I <br />DEVELOPMENT WITHIN 30 DAYS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (4) Collova, Scalze, LaValle, Blesener. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />SPRINGSTED Rusty Fifield, Springsted, appeared before the Council <br />on the issue of Springsted's study into the advanced <br />refunding of the City's 1983 General Obligation <br />Improvement Bonds and 1985 General Obligation Refunding <br />Improvement Bonds. Fifield reported that their <br />analysis has shown that the City could save $35,000 by <br />refunding these bond issues, however, the analysis has <br />shown that it may not be in the City's best interests <br />to do so. <br />Page 20 <br />
