MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />SEPTEMBER 26, 1990 <br />rendering of the Phase II building which he described. <br />Brueggemann also pointed out that the Phase I building <br />is 80~ leased, while Phase II is 78% leased. Plans are <br />to be in the ground with Phase II in November. <br />Brueggemann reported that he will be studying the <br />property to the south over the winter months and will <br />be approaching the owners to begin negotiation. <br />The Administrator pointed out that the Council is being <br />asked to approve the PUD for Phase II, however, the TIF <br />Aqreement for this phase will be presented to the <br />Counoil at a later date. Preliminary discussions have <br />bequn on that agreement. <br />At this point, Council opened the meeting to comments <br />from the general public. <br />Pat Conway, Burke Lane, expressed concern that the <br />trees on the west boundary of the property are gone. <br />Brueggemann stated that he understands the neighbors' <br />concern, and reported that the trees were to be <br />selectively cleared, however, all have been cut. <br />Brueggemann reported that he is constructing a berm on <br />the western boundary of the property which will be 5 to <br />6 feet in height and landscaped. He will meet with the <br />residents in the area for their input on the <br />landscaping. <br />Scalze requested that Brueggemann submit a landscape <br />plan. <br />Burke requested that in the future all Burke Lane <br />residents receive public hearing notification regarding <br />development of this area. <br />Bill Quirin, 179 E. Little Canada Road, asked what. <br />phase his property would be involved in. <br />Brueggemann replied that the Quirin property would be <br />involved in the 5th phase. Brueggemann reported that <br />he will be getting topos of the properties involved in <br />this phase and cominq up with a game plan for <br />development, and then contacting the property owners <br />involved. Brueggemann estimated that negotiation for <br />these properties would begin next year, but he did not <br />see development commencing in 1991. <br />Upon motion by Blesener, seconded by Scalze, the public <br />hearing was closed. <br />Page 19 <br />
