MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
OCTOBER 10, 1990
was reconstructed without the proper setbacks.
Blesener pointed out that it is difficult for the
Building Inspector to monitor the entire City to make
sure all necessary building permits have been obtained.
Blesener also pointed out that the 10 foot setback
referred to by Mr. Schmidt would not apply in this
instance, but rather a 5 foot setback. Therefore, the
qaraqe is not as far out of conformance as referred to
by Mr. Schmidt.
Mr. Schmidt outlined the actions which he has taken to
get his neighbor's driveway removed from his property.
Schmidt also raised his concerned about his neighbor's
dog trespassing on his property.
Council indicated that Animal Control should be
contacted with these concerns, and felt that the
Building Inspector should contact Animal Control and
outline the situation and ask that they address the
matter. Council also indicated that the Inspector
should send a copy of the City's animal control
ordinance to the property owner and inform them that
Animal Control is empowered to pick up dog if there is
a violation of the ordinance.
LARSON FILL The City Engineer reviewed the Building Inspector's
PERMIT . report dated October 4, 1990 regarding the Larson
APPLICATION application for fill permit for the property at 696
East County Road B-2. The Engineer reported that he
has looked at the site with the Building Inspector and
concurs with his recommendations.
Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 90-10-460 - APPROVING THE APPLICATION
FOR FILL PERMIT SUBMITTED BY ANN LARSON FOR THE
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 696 EAST COUNTY ROAD B-2 SUBJECT TO
COMPLIANCE WITH TAE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE BUILDING
INSPECTOR AS CONTAINED IN HIS REPORT DATED OCTOBER 4,
1990
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle.
Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Scalze, Collova, Fahey.
Nays (0).
Resolution declared adopted.
RAMSEY Council reviewed the City Engineer's letter dated
COUNTY CIP October 5, 1990 recommending the City's ranking of
projected County Capital Improvement Programs.
