MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />OCTOBER 10, 1990 <br />Council discussed in detail the rankinq of the first <br />five projects, specifically the Keller Parkway project. <br />The City Engineer pointed out that any project ranked <br />below #3 or #5 will probably not become programmed <br />under the Capital Improvement Program over the next 3 <br />to 5 years. <br />Scalze believed that due to the public safety aspects <br />involved as well as the results of the City's survey <br />that was done a couple of years ago, that Keller <br />Parkway project should be moved to #3. The City survey <br />indicated that 78% of the residents of the City favored <br />a walkway around Gervais, with 63% remaining in favor <br />even if they had to pay for it. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-10-461 - APPROVING THE CITY <br />ENGINEER'S RECOMMENDATIONS FOR RANKING OF CAPITAL <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS TO BE SUBMITTED TO THE COUNTY WITH <br />THE CHANGE MAKING THE KELLER PARKWAY PROJECT #3 ON THE <br />LIST AND ADJUSTING THE OTHER RANKINGS ACCORDINGLY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Collova. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Collova, Blesener, Fahey, LaValle. <br />Nays (o). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />PIONEER PARK The City Administrator reported that he is waiting for <br />CHANGE-ORDERS additional information on the Pioneer Park <br />change-orders and requested that this matter be tabled <br />for two weeks. <br />HERITAGE The City Administrator outlined his recommendation <br />WATERMAIN for developer cost reimbursement for the Heritage <br />OVERSIZING watermain oversizing as outlined in his report dated <br />October 5, 1990. The Administrator reported that he <br />discussed his recommendation with the developers, and <br />has not had a response. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-10-462 - ACCEPTING AND APPROVING TAE <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S RECOMMENDATION FOR DEVELOPER COST <br />REIMBURSEMENT IN CONJUNCTION WITH TAE HERITAGE <br />WATERMAIN OVERSIZING, AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR TO <br />MAKE REIMBURSEMENT IF THE DEVELOPER INDICATES <br />ACCEPTANCE OF THE SETTLEMENT <br />Page 17 <br />
