MINUTES CITY COUNCIL OCTOBER 23, 1990 Boosalis reported that he would withdraw his objection if the City reduced the assessment to $11,634 per lot. The City Administra~or pointed out that Mr. Boosalis has waived his right to appeal the assessment as part of the Development Agreement he has with the City. Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90-10-474 - REJECTING THE NICK BOOSALIS OBJECTION TO ASSESSMENT FOR IMPROVEMENT NO. 89-16 The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Scalze, Collova, Fahey. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. There was no one present from the general public with additional comments on this matter. Upon motion by Blesener, seconded by LaValle, the public hearing was closed. Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 90-10-475 - APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE ASSESSMENT ROLL AS AMENDED FOR IMPROVEMENT NO. 89-16, ROSEWOOD DRIVE, A NEW STREET IN THE CENTRE PLACE PLAT FROM COUNTY ROAD C NORTA AND EAST ENDING IN A CUL-DE-SAC BY GRADING, SANI'PARY SEWER, WATERMAIN, STORM SEWER, GRAVEL BASE, CONCRETE CURB AND GUTTER AND BITUMINOUS SURFACING PER LOT ASSESSMENT OF $11,634.00 COUNTY NO. 6091 INTEREST RATE - 8 1/4 PERCENT INSTALLMENT - TEN YEARS The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (4) Blesener, LaValle, Scalze, Collova. Nays (1) Fahey. Resolution declared adopted. ASSESSMENT Fahey opened the assessment hearing for Improvement No HEARING - 90-7, County Road D from LaBore Road . to 0.35 miles east IMP. NO. by shoulder paving. 90-7 The amount to be assessed is $886.40. There is a total of 664 feet of assessable footage and the proposal is to divide the assessment on a lineal footage basis of $1.3349 per lineal foot. Page 7
