MINUTES CITY COUNCIL OCTOBER 24, 1990 with five single-family lots. The remainder of the Schletty property is proposed to be platted as an outlot for future development with single-family homes. There was no one from the general public present wishing to comment on this matter. Upon motion by Fahey, seconded by Scalze, the public hearinq was closed. Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90-10-484 - APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY PLAT OF FREDERICKSHAVEN AS SUBMITTED BY GORDIE HOWE SUBJECT TO COMPLIANCE WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY PLANNER AS CONTAINED IN HIS REPORT DATED OCTOBER 8, 1990 AND SUBJECT TO THE DEVELOPER ADDRESSING THE CONCERNS OF EXISTING SUNRISE DRIVE RESIDENTS WITH REGARD TO LAWN RESTORATION WHEN THE CUL-DE-SAC IS EXTENDED, AND SUBJECT TO TAE CITY ENGINEER'S REVIEW AND APPROVAL OF THE GRADING PLAN FOR THE DEVELOPMENT The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Collova, Fahey, Scalze. Nays (O). Resolution declared adopted. PRELIMINARY Fahey opened the public hearing to consider the PLAT - COSTA preliminary plat of Costa Estates, a plat consisting of ESTATES 42 single-family lots in an R-1 zoning District. Fahey noted that the Planning Commission has recommended approval of the preliminary plat. Mr. Robert DeBace, representing the Costa family, reported that the plat has been revised from that which was previously submitted to the Council. The revision was made due to problems with tax forfeit property to the north as well as property that is in foreclosure, and the length of time that would be necessary to obtain easements because of these problems. Therefore, the Costa family is proposing that Costa Lane turn toward the east and connect with Vanderbie. The plat is contained entirely on the Costa property, and meets all Code requirements. Paqe 2
