MINUTES CITY COUNCIL OCTOBER 24, 1990 PLANNING Collova reported that the Planning Commission Chairman SEMINARS has requested that Commissioners be authorized to attend some upcoming planninq seminars. Registration costs are $75.00 per seminar per person. Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90-10-501 - AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE FOR ATTENDANCE AT A PLANNING CONFERENCE FOR ANY PLANNING COMMISSIONER INTERESTED The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Collova. Ayes (5) Blesener, Collova, Fahey, Scalze, LaValle. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. PIONEER PARK Scalze reported that the Park Commission has tabled action on the Planning Commission's recommendation that the issue of platting lots along the east side of Pioneer Park be studied. The Park Commission would like some additional time to study the matter. Scalze pointed out that the City Council and Park Commission had previously considered this suggestion prior to the purchase of the property. Scalze pointed out that the property was purchased with donated money, and she strongly felt that when gift such as these are accepted, the City should not then turn around and sell a portion of the property.
