MINUTES OF THE WORKSHOP MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />DECEMBER 20, 1990 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a workshop <br />meeting of the Council of the City of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota was held on the 20th day of December, 1990 in <br />the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Michael Fahey chaired the meeting and called it <br />to order at 5:45 P.M. and the following members of the <br />Council were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Mr. Michael Fahey <br />Council Member Mr. Sill Blesener <br />Council Member Mr. Rick Collova <br />Council Member Mr. Jim LaValle <br />Council Member Mrs. Beverly Scalze <br />ALSO PRESENT <br />City Admin. <br />Building Insp. <br />Public Works <br />Recreation Dir. <br />Rec. Secretary <br />Mr. Joel Hanson <br />Mr. John Palacio <br />Mr. Dave Harris <br />Mr. Jim Morelan <br />Mrs. Kathy Glanzer <br />1991 The City Administrator presented proposed 1991 City <br />WAGES employee salary increases and wage scales. The <br />Administrator pointed out that at this time he is not <br />addressing summer help or custodian scales. The <br />Administrator reported that in developing the salary <br />scales he used comparable information from surrounding <br />cities as well as information from the Stanton Report. <br />The first position looked at was that of Building <br />Inspector/Fire Marshal. The Administrator reviewed his <br />salary scale proposal as well as the wage information <br />from surrounding cities and the Stanton Report used to <br />arrive at his recommendation. A 4% salary increase was <br />recommended for 1991. <br />Fahey asked if the Administrator was recommending that <br />the Council adopt the salary scale as it is proposed in <br />the years beyond 1991. <br />The Administrator replied that this was his <br />recommendation assuming that there was satisfactory <br />performance on the part of the individual employees. <br />Page 1 <br />
