MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />JANUARY 9, 1991 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular <br />meeting of the Council of the City of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota was held on the 9th day of January, 1991 in <br />the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />oATH oF The City Attorney administered the Oath of Office to <br />OFFICE Raymond Hanson as Mayor and to Jim LaValle and Beverly <br />Scalze as Council Members. <br />Mayor Raymond Aanson chaired the meeting and called it <br />to order at 7:30 P.M. and the following members of the <br />Council were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Mr. Raymond Hanson <br />Council Member Mr. Bill Blesener <br />Council Member Mr. Rick Collova <br />Council Member Mr. Jim LaValle <br />Council Member Mrs. Beverly Scalze <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Admin. Mr. Joel Hanson <br />City Attorney Mr. Tom Sweeney <br />Cable TV Prod. Mr. Bill Bruce <br />Rec. Secretary Mrs. Kathy Glanzer <br />MINUTES Scalze indicated that page 14 of the December 26th <br />minutes should be corrected to reflect that the <br />proposed liquor ordinance will be sent to those <br />organizations that typically request temporary liquor <br />permits as well as the City~s liquor businesses. <br />Scalze also indicated that page 15, 4th paragraph <br />should be amended to reflect that it was Council's <br />consensus that a minimum distance of 500 feet should be <br />used in the proposed Adult Use Ordinance to be <br />consistent with Supreme Court rulings. Scalze also <br />pointed out that adoption of this ordinance does not <br />mean that the City is trying to entice these types of <br />businesses, but rather regulate them to the best of its <br />ability while still being consistent with Supreme Court <br />rulings. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />Page 1 <br />
