MINUTES CITY COUNCIL JANUARY 9, 1991 The City Administrator pointed out that the initial $15,000 for cost of debris removal was donated by Little Canada Charity Plus, Inc. This donation enabled the City to undertake the program to begin with. Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 91-1-21 - APPROVING THE PAYMENT OF PRECISION LANDSCAPE AND TREE AN ADDITIONAL $25,000 FOR STORM DEBRIS REMOVAL BEYOND THE $15,000 INITIALLY PAID The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Collova. Ayes (5) Blesener, Collova, LaValle, Hanson, Scalze. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. 200 RYAN The Council reviewed the Building Inspector's report DRIVE dated January 9, 1991 recommending the abatement of hazardous chemicals at 20o Ryan Drive. Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 91-1-22 - INSTRUCTING CITY STAFF, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE BUILDING INSPECTOR, CITY ADMINISTRATOR AND CITY ATTORNEY, TO DO WxATEVER NECESSARY TO ABATE HAZARDOUS CHEMICALS AT 200 RYAN DRIVE AND BRING THE PROPERTY INTO COMPLIANCE WITH FIRE AND BUILDING CODES AS PER ORDINANCE 601 The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Scalze, Collova, Hanson. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. PARK Council reviewed the applications received from Gordon COMMISSION Kimball, William Cremeen and Bill Bruce for the VACANCY vacancy on the Park Commission caused by the resignation of John Keis. There are two years remaining in that term. Council noted the impressive qualifications of all the recent applicants to the City's various commissions. By ballot of the Council with Collova, Scalze, Hanson and LaValle voting for Bruce, and Blesener voting for Kimball, Bill Bruce was appointed to the Park Commission to complete a two year term.
