MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JANUARY 9, 1991 <br />The City Administrator pointed out that the initial <br />$15,000 for cost of debris removal was donated by <br />Little Canada Charity Plus, Inc. This donation enabled <br />the City to undertake the program to begin with. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-1-21 - APPROVING THE PAYMENT OF <br />PRECISION LANDSCAPE AND TREE AN ADDITIONAL $25,000 FOR <br />STORM DEBRIS REMOVAL BEYOND THE $15,000 INITIALLY PAID <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Collova. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, Collova, LaValle, Hanson, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />200 RYAN The Council reviewed the Building Inspector's report <br />DRIVE dated January 9, 1991 recommending the abatement of <br />hazardous chemicals at 20o Ryan Drive. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 91-1-22 - INSTRUCTING CITY STAFF, <br />INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE BUILDING INSPECTOR, <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR AND CITY ATTORNEY, TO DO WxATEVER <br />NECESSARY TO ABATE HAZARDOUS CHEMICALS AT 200 RYAN <br />DRIVE AND BRING THE PROPERTY INTO COMPLIANCE WITH FIRE <br />AND BUILDING CODES AS PER ORDINANCE 601 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Scalze, Collova, Hanson. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />PARK Council reviewed the applications received from Gordon <br />COMMISSION Kimball, William Cremeen and Bill Bruce for the <br />VACANCY vacancy on the Park Commission caused by the <br />resignation of John Keis. There are two years <br />remaining in that term. Council noted the impressive <br />qualifications of all the recent applicants to the <br />City's various commissions. <br />By ballot of the Council with Collova, Scalze, Hanson <br />and LaValle voting for Bruce, and Blesener voting for <br />Kimball, Bill Bruce was appointed to the Park <br />Commission to complete a two year term. <br />Page 13 <br />
