MINUTES CITY COUNCIL JANUARY 9, 1991 Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 91-1-14 - APPROVING THE RENEWAL OF THE PREMISE PERMIT APPLICATION SUBMITTED BY ST. JOSEPH'S SOCIETY FOR CHARITY, INC. FOR RENEWAL OF THEIR PULL TAB LICENSE FOR THE GORDIES PLACE SITE The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. Ayes (5) LaValle, Scalze, Hanson, Collova, Blesener. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. GAMBLING Council reviewed the applications for renewal of LICENSE Gambling License submitted by Little Canada Charity RENEWAL - Plus, Inc. for pull-tab operations at Brady's. LITTLE CANADA Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and CHARITY PLUS moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 91-1-15 - APPROVING THE RENEWAL OF THE PREMISE PERMIT APPLICATION SUBMITTED BY LITTLE CANADA CHARITY PLUS, INC. FOR RENEWAL OF THEIR PULL TAB LICENSE FOR THE BRADY'S SITE The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. Ayes (5) LaValle, Blesener, Scalze, Hanson, Collova. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. Scalze thanked St. Joseph~s Society and Little Canada Charity Plus for everything they have done for the City. LaValle reported on St. Joseph's Society~s recent food and clothing donations to needy families over the Holiday Season. AUDIT The City Administrator reviewed the CONTRACT Audit/Accounting Contract with Voto,pTautges,1Redpath & Co., Ltd. as well as his memo dated January 4, 1991 recommending approval of the contract. Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 91-1-16 - APPROVING THE 1991 AUDIT/ACCOUNTING CONTRACT WITH VOTO, TAUTGES, REDPATH & CO., LTD. AS SUBMITTED AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO SIGN THE CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY Page 8
