MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />February 13, 1991 <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-2-65 - APPROVING THE PREMISE PERMIT <br />APPLICATION FOR LITTLE CANADA CHARITY PLUS, INC. FOR <br />THEIR OPERATION AT THE LITTLE CANADA BINGO HALL FOR THE <br />LICENSE PERIOD APRIL 1, 1991 THROUGH MARCH 30, 1992 <br />CONTINGENT UPON RECEIPT OF SATISFACTORY SHERIFF'S <br />REPORT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Scalze, Collova, Hanson, Blesener. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />LIQUOR LaValle reported that he has been contacted by some <br />ORDINANCE of the owners of liquor businesses in the City <br />regarding their concerns with the proposed Liquor <br />Ordinance revision to be considered by the Council on <br />March 13th. LaValle reported that he and the Mayor and <br />City Attorney met with these owners to discuss their <br />concerns. LaValle reported that he will submit to the <br />Council a report outlining the discussion that took <br />place so that the Council has all the information <br />before them when considering the ordinance revision on <br />March 13th. <br />VOUCHERS Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 91-2-66 - APPROVING THE VOUCHERS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Blesener, Scalze, Collova, Hanson. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />CoUNCIL Bill Bruce submitted three quotes for the purchase and <br />CHAMBERS installation of a speaker system in the new Council <br />SPEAKER Chambers. Bruce explained the system to the Council <br />and reviewed the quotes. The quotes were from Blumberg <br />Communications in the amount of $1,068.00; Audio <br />Visual, Inc. for $2,134.80; and Sound Acoustics in the <br />amount of $1,000.00. Bruce recommended that the low <br />bid be awarded and funds for the purchase come from the <br />City's Cable TV account. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />Page 18 <br />
