MINUTES CITY COUNCIL February 13, 1991 Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 91-2-65 - APPROVING THE PREMISE PERMIT APPLICATION FOR LITTLE CANADA CHARITY PLUS, INC. FOR THEIR OPERATION AT THE LITTLE CANADA BINGO HALL FOR THE LICENSE PERIOD APRIL 1, 1991 THROUGH MARCH 30, 1992 CONTINGENT UPON RECEIPT OF SATISFACTORY SHERIFF'S REPORT The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. Ayes (5) LaValle, Scalze, Collova, Hanson, Blesener. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. LIQUOR LaValle reported that he has been contacted by some ORDINANCE of the owners of liquor businesses in the City regarding their concerns with the proposed Liquor Ordinance revision to be considered by the Council on March 13th. LaValle reported that he and the Mayor and City Attorney met with these owners to discuss their concerns. LaValle reported that he will submit to the Council a report outlining the discussion that took place so that the Council has all the information before them when considering the ordinance revision on March 13th. VOUCHERS Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 91-2-66 - APPROVING THE VOUCHERS The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. Ayes (5) LaValle, Blesener, Scalze, Collova, Hanson. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. CoUNCIL Bill Bruce submitted three quotes for the purchase and CHAMBERS installation of a speaker system in the new Council SPEAKER Chambers. Bruce explained the system to the Council and reviewed the quotes. The quotes were from Blumberg Communications in the amount of $1,068.00; Audio Visual, Inc. for $2,134.80; and Sound Acoustics in the amount of $1,000.00. Bruce recommended that the low bid be awarded and funds for the purchase come from the City's Cable TV account. Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: Page 18
