MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />Pebruary 13, 1991 <br />STEAMER/ The City Administrator reported that Public Works has <br />PoWER WASHER requested authorization to purchase a steamer/power <br />washer to be used for equipment maintenance as well as <br />opening frozen catch basins and culverts. Two <br />quotations have been obtained for this equipment, one <br />from Hotsy in the amount of $2,993.57 and the other <br />from Karcher for $3,219.75. Staff recommendation is to <br />award the low bid. <br />Collova asked if the City's generator was large enough <br />to operate the steamer/power washer and suggested that <br />before the equipment is purchased, this be determined. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-2-63 - AUTHORIZING PUBLIC WORKS TO <br />PURCHASE A STEAMER/POWER WASHER FROM HOTSY AT A COST OP <br />$2,993.57 WITH THESE FUNDS TO COME FROM THE SEWER <br />CAPITAL OUTLAY PORTION OF THE BUDGET CONTINGENT THAT <br />THE CITY'S GENERATOR IS ADEQUATE TO RUN THE EQUIPMENT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Blesener, Collova, Hanson, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />PLAQUES LaValle reported that he will be meeting with the Fire <br /> Chief to discuss a plaque for the Fire Station and <br /> should have a recommendation for plaques for the Fire <br /> Station and City Center shortly for the Council to <br /> consider. <br />PREMISE Council reviewed the applications submitted for renewal <br />PERMITS of Premise Permits for St. Joseph's Society for Charity <br />ST. JOSEPH'S and Little Canada Charity Plus for their operations at <br />SOCIETY & the Little Canada Bingo Hall. <br />LITTLE <br />CANADA Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />CHARITIES moved its adoption: <br />PLUS <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 91-2-64 - APPROVING THE PREMISE PERMIT <br /> APPLICATION FOR ST. JOSEPH'S SOCIETY FOR CHARITY, SNC. <br /> FOR THEIR OPERATION AT THE LITTLE CANADA BINGO HALL FOR <br /> THE LICENSE PERIOD APRIL 1, 1991 THROUGH MARCH 30, 1992 <br /> CONTINGENT UPON RECEIPT OF SATISFACTORY SHERIFF'S <br /> REPORT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Scalze, Collova, Hanson, Blesener. <br />Nays (0).
