MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />February 27, 1991 <br />The City Administrator stated that Kath Bros. will <br />attempt to get clear title to the 20 foot strip of road <br />right-of-way, and has indicated a willingness to deed <br />this strip back to the City. <br />Bruce Kath agreed that Kath Bros. would be willing to <br />deed the property back to the City should they obtain <br />clear title to it. <br />The City Administrator reported that the attorney for <br />Kath Bros. is putting together a legal description for <br />the parcel of property to be vacated. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-2-71 - VACATING A PORTION OF THE <br />WOODLYNN AVENUE RIGHT-OF-WAY ADJACENT TO THE KATH <br />BROTHERS FUEL OIL COMPANY WITH THE UNDERSTANDING THAT <br />SHOULD KATH BROS. HAVE POSSESSION OF TITLE FOR A 20 <br />FOOT STRIP OF WOODLYNN AVENUE PREVIOUSLY DEEDED TO THE <br />CITY, THEY WILL AGREE TO DEED THAT SAME AREA TO THE <br />CITY TO CORRECT ANY TITLE DEFICIENCIES WHICH MAY EXIST <br />AND SUBJECT TO THE DEDICATION OF NECESSARY WATERMAIN <br />RIGHT-OF-WAY ALONG RICE STREET BY KATH BROS. TO THE <br />CITY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (4) Blesener, LaValle, Scalze, Blesener. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />ST. JUDE'S Scalze reported that the request of St. Jude's Medical <br />STOP LIGHT for a stop light is being tabled at this time pending <br />additional information from St. Jude's. <br />LaValle suggested that St. Jude's be informed that the <br />City would like to see any stop light include Opticom <br />equipment for the benefit of both the Fire Department <br />and Sheriff's Department. <br />REC. ASSOC. The Little Canada Recreation Association has requested <br />TEMPORARY approval of a temporary on-sale liquor license for a <br />LIQUOR benefit dance that will be held on April 13, 1991. <br />LICENSE <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 91-2-72 - APPROVING A TEMPORARY LIQUOR <br />LICENSE FOR THE LITTLE CANADA RECREATION ASSOCIATION <br />BENEFIT DANCE TO BE HELD ON APRIL 13, 1991 SUBJECT TO <br />RECEIPT OF SATISFACTORY SAERIFF'S REPORT <br />Page 3 <br />
