MINUTES CITY COUNCIL March 27, 1991 RESOLUTION NO. 91-3-111 - APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT OF THE GERVAIS CREEK OFFICE BUILDING AS SUBMITTED BY MR. TOM KREJCI The foreqoing resolution was duly seconded by Hanson. Ayes (4) Blesener, Hanson, Collova, Scalze. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. PREMISE Council reviewed the premise permit application PERMIT - submitted by the Lake Owasso Residence Volunteer LAKE OWASSO Council for their bingo operation at the Little Canada RESIDENCE Bingo Hall. VOLUNTEER COUNCIL Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 91-3-112 - APPROVING THE PREMISE PERMIT FOR THE LAKE OWASSO RESIDENCE VOLUNTEER COUNCIL'S BINGO OPERATION AT THE LITTLE CANADA BINGO HALL PENDING RECEIPT OF SATISFACTORY POLICE REPORTS The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by 5calze. Ayes (4) Blesener, Scalze, Collova, Hanson. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. LIQUOR Mary Ann 0'Kane asked if the proposed Liquor License LICENSE Ordinance would allow resident aliens to hold a ORDINANCE liquor license. The City Administrator reported that the City's current ordinance requires U.S. citizenship to hold a liquor license, however, the ordinance under consideration would allow a resident alien to hold a license. The City Attorney presented the proposed Liquor ordinance which incorporates the changes recommended by the Council. The Attorney also pointed out that Council has the City Administrator's report regarding liquor liability insurance. Hanson pointed out recent actions taken by the Archdiocese regarding the serving of liquor on Church property, and suggested that the City may have to take similar action requiring liquor liability insurance coverage from temporary license holders. Hanson noted that this is the recommendation of both the City Attorney and City Administrator. Page 15
