MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />March 27, 1991 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-3-111 - APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT OF <br />THE GERVAIS CREEK OFFICE BUILDING AS SUBMITTED BY MR. <br />TOM KREJCI <br />The foreqoing resolution was duly seconded by Hanson. <br />Ayes (4) Blesener, Hanson, Collova, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />PREMISE Council reviewed the premise permit application <br />PERMIT - submitted by the Lake Owasso Residence Volunteer <br />LAKE OWASSO Council for their bingo operation at the Little Canada <br />RESIDENCE Bingo Hall. <br />VOLUNTEER <br />COUNCIL Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 91-3-112 - APPROVING THE PREMISE PERMIT <br />FOR THE LAKE OWASSO RESIDENCE VOLUNTEER COUNCIL'S BINGO <br />OPERATION AT THE LITTLE CANADA BINGO HALL PENDING <br />RECEIPT OF SATISFACTORY POLICE REPORTS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by 5calze. <br />Ayes (4) Blesener, Scalze, Collova, Hanson. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />LIQUOR Mary Ann 0'Kane asked if the proposed Liquor License <br />LICENSE Ordinance would allow resident aliens to hold a <br />ORDINANCE liquor license. <br />The City Administrator reported that the City's current <br />ordinance requires U.S. citizenship to hold a liquor <br />license, however, the ordinance under consideration <br />would allow a resident alien to hold a license. <br />The City Attorney presented the proposed Liquor <br />ordinance which incorporates the changes recommended by <br />the Council. The Attorney also pointed out that <br />Council has the City Administrator's report regarding <br />liquor liability insurance. <br />Hanson pointed out recent actions taken by the <br />Archdiocese regarding the serving of liquor on Church <br />property, and suggested that the City may have to take <br />similar action requiring liquor liability insurance <br />coverage from temporary license holders. Hanson noted <br />that this is the recommendation of both the City <br />Attorney and City Administrator. <br />Page 15 <br />
