The Attorney
requested that the Council clarify the amount of
coverage limits that will be required for Liquor
Liability insurance. State Law requires minimum limits
of 50,000/100,000. The Council had decided to require
limits of 100,000/300,000 for temporary liquor
licenses, and the Attorney asked if the intent was to
require the same limits for annual liquor licenses.
Council consensus was to table action on this matter
until later in the meeting so that staff can determine
the amount of limits current license holders carry.
Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 91-4-129 - TABLING ACTION ON THE LIQUOR
LICENSE ORDINANCE UNTIL LATER IN THE MEETING
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle.
Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Scalze, Collova, Hanson.
Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted.
City staff pointed out that in the past a license fee
of $80 had been charged for On-Sale Non-Intoxicating
Malt Liquor Licenses. Staff asked if the Council
wanted to retain this fee.
Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION N0. 91-4-130 - APPROVING AN ANNUAL LICENSE
FEE OF $80.00 FOR ON-SALE NON-INTOXICATING MALT LIQUOR
LICENSES
Page 8
