MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MAY 8, 1991 <br />Scalze commented that in the past she did not believe <br />the City was charged for speed studies it requested the <br />State to do, however, asked staff to find out if there <br />is a cost. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-5-161 - REQUESTING THE COMMISSIONER <br />OF TRANSPORTATION TO CONDUCT AN ENGINEERING AND TRAFFIC <br />STUDY OF THE DIANNA LANE NEIGHBORHOOD DUE TO THE <br />REQUEST OF THE GERVAIS SHORES NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION <br />THAT THE SPEED LIMIT ON DIANNA LANE BE REDUCED TO LESS <br />THAN 25 MILES PER HOUR <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (4) Scalze, LaValle, Hanson, Collova. <br />Nays (O). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />PROJECT Council reviewed the City Administrator's memo dated <br />UPDATE May 8, 1991 outlininq his recommendations for <br />change-orders for the City Hall and Fire Station <br />projects. <br />Collova indicated that he had questions on a couple of <br />the change-orders. <br />LaValle suggested that the City Administrator's <br />recommendation be adopted since the Administrator had a <br />close handle on the projects. LaValle further <br />suggested that Collova discuss his questions with the <br />Administrator. <br />Mr. Collova introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-5-162 - APPROVING CHANGE ORDERS FOR <br />TAE FIRE STATION AND CITY CENTER PROJECTS AS <br />RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR IN HIS MEMO DATED <br />MAY 8, 1991 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (4) Collova, Scalze, LaValle, Hanson. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />PRINTER Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />Paqe 3 <br />
