MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
JULY 24, 1991
and would be pulling out of the driveway most of the
time.
The City Planner suggested that it may be possible to
corner off the fence to increase visibility.
Scalze felt that visibility was a real concern. Scalze
asked what type of fence would be allowed in this
district without a CUP.
The Planner replied that the Code would allow a 6-foot
high cyclone fence in the same location proposed by
Marche.
Collova suggested that Public Works and the Building
Inspector look at the area once the work on County Road
B is completed and determine the setback that should be
adhered to to provide adequate visibility.
Blesener suggested that the City Planner establish a
setback.
LaValle agreed and suggested that the Lt. Shanley of
the Sheri£f's Department, who is in charge of the
traffic department, would have the expertise to assist
in a recommendation.
There was no one else from the general public present
wishing to comment on this matter.
Upon motion by Blesener, seconded by LaValle, the
public hearing was closed.
Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 91-7-251 - APPROVING THE CONDITIONAL USE
PERMIT TO ALLOW A SPECIAL USE FENCE AS REQUESTED BY
RALPH MARCHE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 43 EAST COUNTY
ROAD B SUBJECT TO THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY
PLANNER AS CONTAINED IN HIS REPORT DATED JUNE 27, 1991,
SUBJECT TO MR.
