MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />AUGUST 28, 1991 <br />IN PIONEER PARK AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br />TO WORK OUT THE ISSUES OF LIABILITY WITH THE VARIOUS <br />CONTRACTORS AND INSURANCE COMPANY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Scalze, Collova, Hanson. <br />Nays (O). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />Blesener indicated that it would be in the City's best <br />interests that all change-orders, repair work, and <br />requests-for-payments be run through the City <br />Administrator rather than consultants. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 91-8-302 - DECLARING THAT ALL <br />CHANGE-ORDERS, REPAIR-WORK ORDERS, AND <br />REQUESTS-FOR-PAYMENT BE AUTHORIZED BY THE CITY <br />ADMINISTRATOR, AND THAT CITY CONSULTANTS BE INFORMED OF <br />THIS POLICY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, Scalze, Hanson, Collova, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />THUNDER BAY- The City Administrator reported that a decision has <br />DITCH D has not been reached for correction of drainage <br />problems for Ditch D in the Thunder Bay area. The <br />contractor has been notified to begin the work on the <br />other three drainage ditch areas. However, if a <br />consensus of the property owners in the Ditch D area <br />cannot be reached soon, that section may have to be <br />pulled from the project. <br />GORDIES Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />OUTDOOR moved its adoption: <br />VOLLEYBALL <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-8-303 - APPROVING AN OUTDOOR <br />VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT AND OUTDOOR LIQUOR SALES FOR <br />GORDIES FOR SEPTEMBER 21 AND 22, 1991 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Collova. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Collova, Scalze, Hanson, Blesener. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />Page 14 <br />
