MINUTES CITY COUNCIL SEPTEMBER 25, DIANNA LANE SPEED STUDY 1991 Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 91-9-332 - APPROVING THE RIDER TO ST. PAUL WATER DEPARTMENT CONTRACT AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE TAE CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. Ayes (5) LaValle, Blesener, Collova, Hanson, Scalze. Nays (O). Resolution declared adopted. The Council reviewed the recommendation of MN DOT regarding speed limit and signing of Dianna Lane. Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 91-9-333 - AUTHORIZING PUBLIC WORKS TO REMOVE SPEED LIMIT SIGN ON DIANNA LANE, SIGN CURVES, AND INCREASE SIZE OF NO ACCESS SIGN AS WAS RECOMMENDED BY THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION IN CONJUNCTION WITH THEIR SPEED LIMIT STUDY OF DIANNA LANE The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. Ayes (5) Blesener, Scalze, Collova, Hanson, LaValle. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. FREDERICKS- The City Administrator reviewed his report dated HAVEN September 25, 1991 regarding the request for building BUILDING permits in the first phase of the Frederickshaven PERMITS development. The Administrator reported that this is similar to what was allowed in the Centre Place development a couple of years ago. However, in this development, the City is better protected since there is a private developer responsible for the improvement. The Administrator reported that the developer has indicated that the first lift of blacktop will be installed this fall, and the second in the spring. The City Administrator reported that the conditions for building permits as outlined in his letter are acceptable to the Frederickshaven developer and the builder.
