MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />OCTOBER 29, 1991 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a special <br />meeting of the Council of the City of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota was held on the 29th day of October, 1991 in <br />the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Raymond Hanson chaired the meeting and called it <br />to order at 7:00 P.M. and the followinq members of the <br />Council were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Mr. Raymond Hanson <br />Council Member Mr. Bill Blesener <br />Council Member Mr. Rick Collova <br />Council Member Mrs. Beverly Scalze <br />MEMBERS ABSENT: Council Member Mr. Jim LaValle <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Admin. Mr. Joel Hanson <br />City Attorney Mr. George Borer <br />City Engineer Mr. Mike Lynch <br />Recording Sec. Mrs. Kathy Glanzer <br />IMP. NO. The Mayor opened the public hearing to consider the <br />91-8 adoption of assessments for Improvement No. 91-8, <br />COUNTY County Road B from a point 1,325 feet east of Rice <br />ROAD B Street to McMenemy Road by shoulder paving. Total cost <br />to be assessed is $2,800.00. <br />The City Administrator reported that in reviewing the <br />improvement it is staff's recommendation that all <br />properties abutting the improvement be assessed. The <br />Administrator reported that previously he indicated <br />that those properties that had existing improvements in <br />place would not be assessed. However, in reviewing the <br />matter, it was determined that there was no difference <br />in benefit since existing improvements were <br />reconstructed and rebuilt. <br />There was no one from the general public present <br />wishing to comment on this matter. <br />Upon motion by Blesener, seconded by Scalze, the public <br />hearing was closed. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced <br />moved its adoption: <br />Page <br />the following resolution and <br />1 <br />
