MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />OCTOBER 29, 1991 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-10-363 - ADOPTING ASSESSMENT FOR <br />IMPROVEMENT NO. 91-8, COUNTY ROAD B SHOULDER PAVING, AS <br />SUBMITTED BY THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR FOR A TERM OF THREE <br />YEARS AND INTEREST RATE OF 6.750 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (4) Blesener, Scalze, Collova, Hanson. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />RECYCLING The City Administrator requested Council approval to <br />GRANT request 1992 SCORE funds from Ramsey County for funding <br />of the City's recycling program. <br />The Administrator reported that the salary for the <br />City's recycling intern is funded by this program. The <br />intern is currently working on the City's residential <br />recycling program. <br />Collova suggested that the City purchase additional <br />recycling containers to supply to new residents. <br />The Administrator replied that this is one of the <br />things that the recycling intern is workinq on. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-10-364 - AUTHORIZING THE CITY'S <br />APPLICATION TO RAMSEY COUNTY FOR 1992 SCORE FUNDS TO <br />SUPPORT THE CITY'S RECYCLING PROGR~M <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Collova. <br />Ayes (4) Blesener, Collova, Aanson, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />IMP. N0. The Mayor opened the public hearing to consider <br />90-21 adoption of assessments for Improvement No. 90-21, <br />DESOTO STR. DeSoto Street between the south line of LaBore Road and <br />the north line of Allen Avenue, as well as the <br />improvement of the northern and southern portions of <br />Costa Lane from DeSoto Street on the west extending <br />approximately 104 feet east by watermain, sanitary <br />sewer, storm drainage, curb and gutter, and bituminous <br />street. Total cost to be assessed is $331,098.54. <br />Page 2 <br />
