MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />NOVEMBER 27, 1991 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Blesener, Collova, Hanson, Scalze. <br />Nays (o). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />Hanson reported that Anderson is currently working with <br />Bill Bruce and himself on a video tape to be broadcast <br />on Cable TV identifying the hazardous materials <br />drop-off site in Mounds View. <br />DESOTO The City Administrator reviewed Change-Order No. 2 <br />CHANGE-ORDER in the amount of $8,845.77 for the DeSoto Street <br />& FINAL project which covered the need to lower the existing <br />PAYMENT watermain due to an error showing the location of the <br />main on the City's as-builts, insulation of existing <br />watermain as it crosses Costa Streets, and watermain <br />connection at Al1en Avenue. <br />The Administrator also pointed out the request for <br />payment No. 3 in the amount of $49,679.94 for this <br />project. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 91-11-408 - APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 <br />AS WELL AS REQUEST FOR PAYMENT N0. 3 FOR THE DESOTO <br />STREET PROJECT AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Scalze, Hanson, Collova. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />PARK MASTER Council postponed its review of the proposed Park <br />PLAN Master Plan do to the lateness of the meeting, and the <br />fact that this plan will require indepth review. <br />ECONOMIC Hanson reported that he and the City Administrator are <br />DEVELOPMENT continuing to meet with representatives of Vadnais <br />Heights exploring the issue of economic development. <br />ST. JOSEPH'S LaValle reviewed a letter he received from an attorney <br />50CIETY FOR representing Lois Blomberg and St. Joseph's Society for <br />CHARITY Charity reporting that Ms. Blomberg has been reinstated <br />as the gambling manager for that organization, and <br />pledging to re-establish the relationship and <br />cooperation that had been enjoyed in the past with the <br />City. <br />Page 16 <br />
