MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JANUARY 8, 1992 <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-1-3 - APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE <br />DECEMBER 17, 1992 WORKSHOP MEETING AS SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (4) LaValle, Scalze, Hanson, Blesener. <br />Nays (o). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />ANNOUNCE- Hanson reported that in a follow-up to the police <br />MENTS report on after-hours incidents in the parking lot of <br />Mingles, he contacted the management of the Saxon <br />Lanes. They informed him that they have security <br />patrolling the parking lot until approximately 1:30 <br />A.M., or when they can get the lot cleared. The <br />incidents which occurred in the parking lot happened <br />after the lots had been cleared and security had left. <br />He also reported that Saxon has not been operating <br />24-hour bowling. <br />CONDITIONAL The Mayor opened the public hearing to consider the <br />USE PERMIT application for conditional use permit to conduct an <br />2822 RICE auto-repair business within the B-3 Zoning District. <br />STREET Location is 2822 Rice Street. It was noted that the <br />Planning Commission has tabled action on this matter <br />pending submittal of additional information by the <br />applicant. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-1-4 - CONTINUING THE PUBLIC HEARING <br />ON THE APPLICATION FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT POR AUTO <br />REPAIR BUSINESS AT 2822 RICE STREET PENDING A <br />RECOMMENDATION FROM THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (4) Blesener, Scalze, Hanson, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />PIONEER PARK Jim Olson, member o£ the Little Canada Recreation <br />CONCESSION Association, appeared before the Council requesting <br />STAND authority to run and operate the Pioneer Park <br />Page 2 <br />
