MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JANUARY 8, 1992 <br />The Administrator replied that this was correct. The <br />Sheriff's Department has been advised of the potential <br />change, and they have indicated that they are not <br />entirely satisfied with the response of the the City's <br />present provider. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-1-18 - AWARDING LITTLE CANADA'S 1992 <br />ANIMAL CONTROL CONTRACT TO THE HUMANE SOCIETY OF RAMSEY <br />COUNTY AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br />TO EXECUTE THE CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (4) Blesener, LaValle, Hanson, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />TRANSFER OF The City Administrator reported that MWCC is proposing <br />SEWER LINE to transfer the sewer line running between Centerville <br />Road and Keller Parkway to the City. The MWCC has <br />constructed a new sewer interceptor line and no longer <br />needs this line. The MwCC is offering the City $1,753 <br />for taking over the line and has proposed several <br />payment options. The Administrator recommended that <br />the City accept the line and that the option involving <br />matching credits be used for payment to the City. <br />Council was agreeable provided that the line is <br />inspected and determined to be in satisfactory <br />condition. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-1-19 - ACCEPTING THE SEWER LINE <br />RUNNING BETWEEN CENTERVILLE ROAD AND KELLER PARKWAY <br />FROM THE MWCC SUBJECT TO SATISFACTORY CONDITION OF THE <br />LINE AND BASED ON THE PAYMENT OPTION AS RECOMMENDED BY <br />THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (4) Blesener, Scalze, Hanson, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />RCLGSC The City Administrator presented to the Council for <br />RECOMMENDA- review recommendations of the Ramsey County League of <br />TIONS Governments Services Commission on possible <br />consolidation of the Public Health Department, <br />Page 25 <br />
