MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JANUARY 22, 1992 <br />cataloguing birth and death records from the 1890's <br />through the 1930's. Scalze reported that the public <br />should feel free to stop in and observe or assist in <br />the Historical Society's efforts. Scalze also reported <br />that the Historical Society~s regular meeting is <br />tomorrow evening at 7 P.M. The public is invited. <br />PROPERTY The Mayor opened the Public Hearing to consider the <br />DIVISION & application for property division and variance from <br />VARIANCE the minimum requirements for lot width for property <br />319 SAVAGE located at 319 Savage Lane as requested by Richard and <br />Virginia Sykes. It was noted that the Planning <br />Commission has tabled action on this request, <br />therefore, the Council must table the matter pending a <br />recommendation from the Planning Commission. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-1-33 - CONTINUING THE PUBLIC HEARING <br />ON THE SYKES~ REQUEST FOR PROPERTY DIVISION AND <br />VARIANCE FOR 319 SAVAGE LANE PENDING A RECOMMENDATION <br />FROM THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Hanson, Collova, Scalze. <br />Nays (O). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />FLOODPLAIN The Mayor opened the Public Hearing to consider an <br />ORDINANCE amendment to Chapter 900 of the Municipal Code relating <br />AMENDMENT to Section 902 regarding definition of "basement" in <br />the Definition Section of the Little Canada Zoning <br />Ordinance. This amendment complies with the request of <br />the DNR in relation to their review of the City's <br />Floodplain Ordinance. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following ordinance and <br />moved its adoption: <br />ORDINANCE NO. 353 - AMENDING CHAPTER 900 OF THE <br />MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA RELATING TO <br />SECTION 902 DEFINITIONS OF THE LITTLE CANADA ZONING <br />ORDINANCE <br />Page 2 <br />
