MINUTES CITY COUNCIL JANUARY 22, 1992 cataloguing birth and death records from the 1890's through the 1930's. Scalze reported that the public should feel free to stop in and observe or assist in the Historical Society's efforts. Scalze also reported that the Historical Society~s regular meeting is tomorrow evening at 7 P.M. The public is invited. PROPERTY The Mayor opened the Public Hearing to consider the DIVISION & application for property division and variance from VARIANCE the minimum requirements for lot width for property 319 SAVAGE located at 319 Savage Lane as requested by Richard and Virginia Sykes. It was noted that the Planning Commission has tabled action on this request, therefore, the Council must table the matter pending a recommendation from the Planning Commission. Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 92-1-33 - CONTINUING THE PUBLIC HEARING ON THE SYKES~ REQUEST FOR PROPERTY DIVISION AND VARIANCE FOR 319 SAVAGE LANE PENDING A RECOMMENDATION FROM THE PLANNING COMMISSION The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Hanson, Collova, Scalze. Nays (O). Resolution declared adopted. FLOODPLAIN The Mayor opened the Public Hearing to consider an ORDINANCE amendment to Chapter 900 of the Municipal Code relating AMENDMENT to Section 902 regarding definition of "basement" in the Definition Section of the Little Canada Zoning Ordinance. This amendment complies with the request of the DNR in relation to their review of the City's Floodplain Ordinance. Mrs. Scalze introduced the following ordinance and moved its adoption: ORDINANCE NO. 353 - AMENDING CHAPTER 900 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA RELATING TO SECTION 902 DEFINITIONS OF THE LITTLE CANADA ZONING ORDINANCE Page 2
