MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JANUARY 22, 1992 <br />BASED ON THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE PUBLIC WORKS <br />SUPERINTENDENT AND THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Scalze, Collova, Hanson. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />The Council requested that the City Administrator <br />include an article in the next City newsletter <br />explaining the new rates and reasons for the increases. <br />RYAN DRIVE The City Administrator pointed out that the estimated <br />IMPROVEMENT cost of Option A for improvement of the streets in Ryan <br />Industrial Park as well as installation of watermain <br />and sanitary sewer is $955,640. The Administrator <br />recommended that if a public hearing is called to <br />consider this improvement, that the highest cost option <br />be used so that the City has some flexibility in making <br />a decision on the proposed improvement. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-1-38 - ACCEPTING THE FEASIBILITY <br />REPORT FOR THE RYAN DRIVE IMPROVEMENT AND CALLING A <br />PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER THE IMPROVEMENT FOR <br />WEDNESDAY, MARCH 11, 1992 AT 7:30 P.M. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Blesener, Collova, Scalze, Hanson. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />LAND The City Administrator reported that the property owner <br />DEDICATION has requested that consideration of his offer to <br />dedicate land in the Jackson Street area to the City be <br />postponed until the next Council meeting since he was <br />unable to attend this evening. <br />It was suggested that this matter be considered by the <br />Park Commission as well. <br />ASSESSMENT Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />REAPPORTION- moved its adoption: <br />MENT <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-1-39 - APPROVING THE ASSESSMENT <br />REAPPORTIONMENT FOR THE KREJCI PROPERTY ON LITTLE <br />CANADA ROAD AS REQUESTED BY RAMSEY COUNTY <br />Page 9 <br />
