MINUTES CITY COUNCIL JANUARY 22, 1992 BASED ON THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE PUBLIC WORKS SUPERINTENDENT AND THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Scalze, Collova, Hanson. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. The Council requested that the City Administrator include an article in the next City newsletter explaining the new rates and reasons for the increases. RYAN DRIVE The City Administrator pointed out that the estimated IMPROVEMENT cost of Option A for improvement of the streets in Ryan Industrial Park as well as installation of watermain and sanitary sewer is $955,640. The Administrator recommended that if a public hearing is called to consider this improvement, that the highest cost option be used so that the City has some flexibility in making a decision on the proposed improvement. Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 92-1-38 - ACCEPTING THE FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR THE RYAN DRIVE IMPROVEMENT AND CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER THE IMPROVEMENT FOR WEDNESDAY, MARCH 11, 1992 AT 7:30 P.M. The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. Ayes (5) LaValle, Blesener, Collova, Scalze, Hanson. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. LAND The City Administrator reported that the property owner DEDICATION has requested that consideration of his offer to dedicate land in the Jackson Street area to the City be postponed until the next Council meeting since he was unable to attend this evening. It was suggested that this matter be considered by the Park Commission as well. ASSESSMENT Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and REAPPORTION- moved its adoption: MENT RESOLUTION NO. 92-1-39 - APPROVING THE ASSESSMENT REAPPORTIONMENT FOR THE KREJCI PROPERTY ON LITTLE CANADA ROAD AS REQUESTED BY RAMSEY COUNTY Page 9
