MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />Originally convened January 23, 1992 <br />Reconvened January 27, 1992 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a special <br />meeting of the Council of the City of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota was held on the 23rd day of January, 1992 and <br />reconvened on the 27th day of January, 1992 in the <br />Conference Room of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Raymond Hanson reconvened the meeting at 5:04 <br />P.M. and the following members of the Council were <br />present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Mr. Raymond Hanson <br />Council Member Mr. Bill Blesener <br />Council Member Mr. Rick Collova <br />Council Member Mr. Jim LaValle <br />Council Member Mrs. Beverly Scalze <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Admin. Mr. Joel Hanson <br />Citizens Members of Local <br /> Cub Scout Troop <br /> with Den Mother <br /> Alexandria Ganzel <br /> Mr. Mike Fahey <br /> Mrs. Linda Fahey <br /> Mr. Ed Nadeau <br /> Mr. Howard <br /> Remerowski <br />PARK & Mayor Hanson explained for the benefit of those present <br />RECREATION that six candidates were interviewed for this position <br />DIRECTOR on January 23, 1992. He indicated that it was the <br />consensus of the Council that two of the candidates <br />merited further consideration. They were Jim Morelan <br />and Barbara Allard. <br />Because of the familiarity with Jim Morelan, no <br />background check was done on this candidate. The City <br />Administrator reported that five people were contacted <br />regarding Barbara Allard's experience in parks and <br />recreation. A summary of this reference check was that <br />she was a very qualified candidate. <br />Discussion then took place regarding the salary to <br />Page 1 <br />
