MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />FEBRUARY 26, 1992 <br />City chooses to bond for these funds, it is a <br />requirement of the Internal Revenue Service that the <br />City pass a resolution providing for this possibility <br />before the payout of funds is made. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-2-77 - ESTABLISHING PROCEDURES <br />RELATING TO COMPLIANCE WITA REIMBURSEMENT BOND <br />REGULATIONS UNDER THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE FOR THE <br />KANDICE HEIGHTS II PROJECT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Collova. <br />Ayes (4) Blesener, Collova, Scalze, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />WORKSHOP Based on previous discussion, it was the consensus <br />MEETING of the Council to call for a workshop meeting with <br />WITH FIRE the Fire Department on Wednesday, March 25th at 6:30 <br />DEPARTMENT P.M. Blesener suggested that the City Administrator, <br />Fire Chief, and Mayor put toqether an agenda for this <br />meeting. It was noted that the meeting will be open to <br />the general public. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-2-78 - CALLING A WORKSHOP MEETING <br />BETWEEN THE CITY COUNCIL AND FIRE DEPARTMENT FOR <br />WEDNESDAY, MARCH 25, 1992 AT THE CITY CENTER BEGINNING <br />AT 6:30 P.M. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (4) Blesener, LaValle, Scalze, Collova. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />WESTWINDS Scalze pointed out that the Park Commission would like <br />PARK - TRAIL staff to be authorized to pursue negotiations for trail <br />EASEMENTS and landscape easements on the south side of the pond <br />in Westwinds Park. Scalze pointed out that it is the <br />intention of the Park Commission, after neighborhood <br />meetinqs with the area, to improve a trail easement <br />around the pond in Westwinds Park. However, a survey <br />of the area has shown that additional easement area is <br />needed on the south side of the pond for the trail. <br />Council wanted to ensure that the negotiation process <br />proceeded at the least possible expense. <br />Page 6 <br />
