MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />APRIL 27, 1992 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a special <br />meeting of the Council of the City of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota was held on the 27th day of April, 1992 in <br />the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Raymond Hanson chaired the meeting and called it <br />to order at 5:00 P.M. and the following members of the <br />Council were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Mr. Raymond Hanson <br />Council Member Mr. Bill Blesener <br />Council Member Mr. Rick Collova <br />Council Member Mr. Jim LaValle <br />Council Member Mrs. Beverly Scalze <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Admin. Mr. Joel Hanson <br />Recording Sec. Mrs. Kathy Glanzer <br />RENEWAL The Mayor reported that the purpose of this special <br />OF BINGO meeting is to consider the renewal of the bingo hall <br />HALL license for Movers Warehouse at the Little Canada Bingo <br />LICENSE Hall. This matter was tabled at the Council's April <br />MOVERS 22, 1992 regular meeting since there was no one present <br />WAREHOUSE to represent Movers Warehouse. <br />Mr. Tom Short, representing Mover's Warehouse, reported <br />that he did not attend the April 22nd meeting since he <br />was unaware that he had to be present. <br />Hanson reported that there are some issues which the <br />Council would like to discuss with Movers Warehouse <br />regarding the property, some of these issues going back <br />to the original Conditional Use Permit which was <br />approved in 1986. <br />The City Administrator reported that he and Mr. Short <br />have discussed some of these issues, and outlined that <br />discussion for the benefit of the Council. The <br />Administrator informed the Council that the striping of <br />the parking lot has been discussed. The parking lot <br />was originally striped, however, the paint is now faded <br />and the lot needs restriping.
